Your role as an Electrical Technician

This is a full-time, permanent role for an Electrical Technician, located on-site in Ayrshire. The Electrical Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within our wind turbines. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting electrical issues, ensuring compliance with safety standards, performing routine inspections, and maintaining accurate records. The role also involves working closely with other team members to ensure the efficient operation of the wind turbines.

You will receive in-depth training and complete courses relevant to the role. Our Technicians experience career progression through our level system, ensuring that you are able to continue developing your skills and specialise in areas of the role that interest you.

Qualifications

Electrical system installation, maintenance, and repair skills
Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of safety standards and compliance
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work on-site in North Ayrshire
Relevant technical qualification or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Experience in the wind energy industry is a plus
Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and at heights
