We’re partnering with a global engineering and manufacturing leader in the energy and renewables sector, and they’re looking for a driven Proposal Engineer to bridge technical design and client-facing proposals.

You’ll be at the forefront of securing major projects in oil & gas, renewables, hydrogen, carbon capture, power generation, and waste-to-energy—gaining exposure to cutting-edge technologies and global markets.

What You’ll Do

Turn customer specs and drawings into winning proposals.
Carry out preliminary mechanical/thermal engineering calculations.
Collaborate with suppliers for cost and technical input.
Create clear, accurate cost estimates and persuasive proposals.
Recommend smart technical alternatives to boost value and performance.
Meet clients across the UK and occasionally overseas.

What You’ll Bring

HND/Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
2+ years in technical sales, applications, or proposals engineering.
Strong grasp of mechanical principles and industrial design.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes for fabricated/integrated products.
Great communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
