Base Location:East Kilbride

Working Pattern:Full Time 40 hours per week

Our client has ateam of highly experienced and professional engineers who have an extensive experience in the renewable sector. We specialise in providing tailored O&M, Servicing, Blade repair and major component exchange solutions for all wind turbine owners

What is the Role?

You will be working with a team of Technicians who take pride in the operation and maintenance oof their fleet.

Responsibilities

Preparation works for Service campaigns
WTSR responsibility for individual sites within our clients Operations Support Remit
Work with customer Work Order systems
Service and corrective tooling upkeep
Completion of service documentation
Completion of Customer site specific documentation where required
Customer liaison
Technical reporting for internal systems
Working with internal systems
Proactive availability, improvement and sustainability
O&M parts management and forecasting
On Call support
Supporting Onsite O&M Teams as needed

Utilising information from our operations team you will also perform scheduled maintenance, fault rectification and major component exchanges on our customers fleet of turbines on a daily basis

Qualifications/Requirements

Professional training in electrical engineering sector (electrician, power electronics system, mechatronic engineer, aviation engineer)

Minimum of 1-year previous experience as Wind Turbine Technicianwithin the Following -WTG types Gamesa G80

Familiar with MS-Office operating system, word/excel

High degree of quality awareness; fault finding, and diagnostic skills combined with the ability to detect and remedy faults, defects, problems as they arise

Team player

Confident personality good customer interfacing skills

Able to work at heights

High degree of flexibility,

Prepared to travel throughout the UK if required.

Professional qualification in an Electrical or Electromechanical discipline
