Solar PV & BESS Installation Field Manager; Midlands/Flexible, England, UK; Up to £55,000 + benefits

Key Responsibilities

Work independently and as part of a team
Be a subject matter expert on solar and battery storage installation, reviewing and signing off solar designs and answering challenging technical queries from the sales team
Manage our large and diverse installation partners to maximise efficiencies and deliver a great experience for both our partners and customers (higher availability, faster speeds, etc.)
Ensure that installations are completed in line with MCS regulations as well as the company's stringent internal quality standards (they will provide training and may require some onsite work)
Work with the Product and Engineering teams to design and build tools to assist with the surveying and installation of solar PV and battery storage
Ensure that internal quality management systems are kept accurate and up to date
Be willing to travel to installations across the UK if required (not the majority of the job) and to London for workshops, team events, planning exercises, etc.
Work with the broader operations and procurement teams to ensure that you have the appropriate materials to complete your installations
Ensure that customers receive the highest quality service

Essential Requirements

Solar PV and battery storage experience
Minimum of 3 years electrical experience
Excellent knowledge of MCS regulations and certification
Excellent knowledge of wiring regulations and certification
NVQ Level 3 and fully qualified AM2 electrical qualifications (or equivalent)
Inspection and testing qualifications (City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/5) (or equivalent)
18th Edition City & Guilds (or equivalent)
Full driving licence

Desirable Requirements (upskilling offered)

Residential solar PV experience
Experience in PVsol or PVsyst
C&G 2919-01 Electric Vehicle Charging or equivalent
2399-13 OR Equivalent (e.g. BPEC)
HV/AP 15 - SAP
Health and Safety Qualification (IOSH or SMSTS)
Qualified Supervisor
Valid CSCS Card
First Aid Qualification
Field manager experience

Remuneration And Benefits (full Time Roles)

£35,000 - £55,000 basic salary
