After Sales Technician
Purpose of the Role:
To deliver high-quality technical support, servicing, and maintenance for customers post-purchase, ensuring product performance and customer satisfaction across the UK. This role involves field visits, technical troubleshooting, repairs, and customer education, with a strong focus on upholding brand reputation and product reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of dehumidifiers for residential and commercial customers.
- Offer remote troubleshooting and technical support via phone, email, or video calls.
- Carry out warranty and non-warranty repairs, recording all service activity accurately.
- Perform product inspections, part replacements, and calibrations in line with company standards.
- Document issues and escalate recurring faults or design issues to the product engineering team.
- Deliver technical training and guidance to customers on product use and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, parts used, and time spent.
- Support spare parts management, stock control, and returns processes.
- Collaborate with the sales and R&D teams to improve customer experience and product design.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
