Job Overview
You will be capable of undertaking the design and lead the implementation of data flows to connect operational systems within our business and underpin our data and science products. You’ll understand the concept of a data product what means for the data flows you build and the selection of appropriate technologies with guidance from more senior engineers. You’ll also have a good understanding of agile product and engineering processes and metrics. To succeed in this position, you should be able to combine data from multiple data sources, some external and both structured.
Requirements:
- recognize opportunities to reuse existing data flows
- lead the build of data processing and streaming systems
- optimize the code to ensure processes perform optimally
- lead work on data storage and database management
