Role: B2B Marketing and Lead Generation Manager
Location: London, UK (2 days on site per week)
Salary: £40k + 15% bonus OTE + Benefits
About the Role
My client is looking for a driven and strategic B2B Marketing & Lead Generation Manager to join a high-growth software company accelerating the clean energy transition. This newly created role is central to building a scalable and high-performing B2B pipeline through smart, targeted outreach and compelling thought leadership.
You’ll sit at the heart of sales and marketing - designing and executing Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns, turning social engagement into commercial conversations, and strengthening the online presence of their leadership team. You’ll also play a key role in shaping how their brand is seen across the energy, EV, and digital tech sectors.

What You’ll Do
1. Lead Generation & ABM
- Plan and deliver Account-Based Marketing strategies for priority verticals (e.g., EV charger manufacturers, smart home installers, energy retailers)
- Identify and engage decision-makers using LinkedIn, email, webinars, and warm calling
- Own the top of the funnel: book qualified meetings and hand over to the Sales team for pipeline development
- Utilise platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Woodpecker, Canddi, and Gleanin
- Monitor and optimise lead performance metrics including conversion rates and pipeline health
2. Thought Leadership & Executive Profiling
- Ghostwrite authentic, high-impact content on behalf of senior leaders (e.g., the CEO) to build trust and industry authority
- Lead engagement programs on LinkedIn and relevant forums to elevate brand and leadership visibility
- Collaborate with the content team to align thought leadership with marketing objectives and product strategy
3. Community Growth & Brand Engagement
- Develop and manage B2B communities across LinkedIn and key energy industry platforms
- Strengthen relationships with influencers, partners, and collaborators to support brand credibility and commercial conversations
- Support lead generation through content-led campaigns, including webinars, announcements, and product-led storytelling
What You’ll Bring
- Proven track record in B2B lead generation, ideally in a high-growth or tech environment
- Strong understanding of ABM principles, sales pipelines, and LinkedIn as a growth channel
- Confident communicator, with excellent written skills and experience ghostwriting or managing executive content
- Experience in clean energy, EV charging, solar, or smart home technologies is highly desirable
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce, and outbound automation tools is a plus
