We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Senior Commercial Manager to lead our commercial operations and drive value across business units.
This is a strategic leadership role where you will take responsibility for managing commercial risk, cost control, cash flow, and contractual compliance, while overseeing a team of commercial and quantity surveying professionals. To be successful in this role, you will have been a commercial manager previously and have extensive history of managing and leading a team of quantity surveying and commercial staff.
You will come from a Main Contract background with experience in design and build projects with experience in complying with various requirements including timeous notices, change management process, extension of time and loss and expense claims as well as the final account process.

Job Requirements
Essential:
- Previous experience in a Commercial Manager position, with extensive history of managing and leading a team of quantity surveying and commercial staff.
- Degree educated in quantity surveying.
- Ability to manage the monthly reporting process including cost value reporting (CVR), monthly reports and final margin projections.
- Have experience in commercial management of sub-contractors including procurement, variations, valuations, and final accounts
- Have some knowledge and experience of dispute resolution.
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge and experience of the standard forms of Contract and Sub-Contract including but not limited to SBCC/JCT/NEC/FIDIC etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of administering multiple projects
Desirable:
- A relevant post graduate degree would be preferential
- RICS or equivalent would be preferential
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the Commercial team ensuring the maximisation of value recovery, cost control and cash management.
- Managing commercial risk and opportunity across all business units
- Ensuring commercial reporting procedures are adhered to
- Managing coordinating, supervising, and supporting the commercial team in areas of personal development and advice on commercial issues
- Managing commercial aspects including monthly reporting, monthly project reviews, cost to completion and account settlement.
- Management and advise the commercial team of the contractual processes to be followed
- Proactively negotiate with customer on contractual matters
- Responsible for the procurement and commercial control of sub-Contractors
- Lead change management process and procedures across the business units
- Protecting Envevo’s contractual position.
- Preparing of financial reports
- Ensure that the Quantity Surveyors hold client valuations at agreed monthly timetable and agree valuations with any variance reported
