We are looking for a Fleet Insurance Administrator who can help us deliver our mission to make it seamless for individuals and businesses to make the transition to zero-carbon driving.
This customer-facing administration role will focus on carrying out, and suggesting improvements to our existing operations compliance processes, to ensure our fleet of electric vehicles is legal, safe and correctly reported. Your input will also help shape the future of how we ensure we’re always taking the highest care of our cars and our drivers.
We are growing rapidly and there is a relentless focus on scalability whilst maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction. This is a junior hire into the Operations Team, initially focussed within Insurance and Policy Management with a chance to influence how we run our operations compliance with plenty of development opportunities. You will support us in building the operations compliance space to make it as effective and efficient as possible.
What You'll Do
- Overview: this role will manage insurance policy setups, eligibility checks, and escalations while ensuring compliance and a smooth customer experience. This role is key in supporting operational changes, such as transitioning to new platforms and processes:
Work in a small team of operations compliance specialists and across other parts of the business to always ensure all our cars are compliant, which will include:
- Fleet insurance operations such as policy admin (set ups and mid-term adjustments), claims escalations, and total loss
- Overseeing insurance quote validity and coordinate requotes for longer-term orders
- Ensuring main and additional drivers meet insurance eligibility criteria (e.g., age, license type, residency)
- Handling premium adjustments for claims or points incurred between order and delivery, gaining agreement on changes
- Handling escalations and incidents from Customer Operations Specialists internally as well as from drivers directly
- Auditing our fleet to guarantee it remains compliant across insurance (make/model, reg, driver name, dates), licence checks, MOTs, and more
- Invoice checking to ensure accuracy
- Maintaining accurate fleet reporting across our internal systems and third party partners
- Feedback on our current compliance processes and systems and propose changes where necessary
- Problem solve! Take responsibility for every customer to be driving compliantly and remove any blockers if they arise
- Help us to plan for growth in terms of customers and the team and get stuck in where necessary to affect this
What You'll Need
- Previous experience in the automotive and/or insurance industry
- A passion for administration and audits, you love refining accurate data and have great attention to detail
- Excellent problem solving skills and a desire to go above and beyond to solve compliance issues as quickly as possible
- Experience working independently and as part of a close-knit team
- To be a natural finisher and an effective operator - you leave no loose ends in your path
- To want to be part of a rapidly growing company and be comfortable adopting changes quickly
