Joining us an Environmental Engineer, you will play an exciting and key role in enhancing environmental performance and compliance across 7 Steel UK’s operations. Your main responsibilities will include data-driven environmental monitoring, and strategic problem solving to support water treatment, air emissions control, dust management and waste reduction initiatives, as well as supporting our decarbonisation journey towards net zero.
We are looking for someone who has a strong understanding of environmental engineering principles, including air emissions and water treatment, as well as knowledge of UK environmental regulations. You will also be a confident communicator, as you will regularly collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. However, what is most important to us is that you’re proactive, data-orientated, and driven to enhance our environmental performance.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or environmental engineering role.
- Bachelor’s degree, in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- UK driving license
