Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
EV Technical Surveyor to assess, evaluate, and report on EV installations. The role involves conducting desktop technical surveys, analysing requirements for EV charging installations, and ensuring alignment with safety, compliance, and performance standards. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of EV systems, electrical installations, and relevant codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct desktop technical surveys of prospective and existing domestic EV charging sites.
- Assess existing electrical infrastructure and physical space for the proposed EV charger.
- Ensure all proposed installations are compliant with all EV electrical regulations.
- Liaise with customers to discuss any changes to installation or specification.
- Update BOXT admin platform regularly to ensure all recommendations, technical knowledge and information is being recorded for each job.
- Collaborate with other teams where necessary to ensure the business needs are met (DNO/Application team).
Qualifications
- Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation and an NVQ Level 3 (Desired but not essential)
- Minimum 25 years of experience in EV systems, electrical installations (Desired but not essential)
- Solid understanding of EV components.
- Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
- Good verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, communication, and technical reporting skills.
Preferred Skills
- Installation experience of EV Chargers/Equipment.
