About HyMarnham Power:
HyMarnham Power is a pioneering joint venture between GeoPura and JG Pears, transforming the former High Marnham coal-fired power station into a cutting-edge clean energy hub. The plant will produce, store, and transport 1,800 tonnes per year of low carbon hydrogen using 15 MWe of electrolysers.
The High Marnham site, acquired by the JG Pears Group, has been identified by Bassetlaw District Council as a key site for renewable energy and low-carbon technology. The site will be the home for the HyMarnham Power hydrogen production installation which is helping to drive the UK’s hydrogen economy and accelerate progress towards national net zero ambitions to combat climate change.
