One of Europe’s leading specialist electrical contractors is actively seeking a mission critical experienced, Electrical Project Engineer to lead a new flagship scheme for them in Slough, valued at over £200m. As Electrical Engineer you will report directly to the Project Director and Engineering Manager and be the first point of contact for all electrical operations, for clients, senior management and subcontractors.
This contractor operates across a variety of sectors, data centre, life sciences, renewable energy, oil & gas and utilities and have grown significantly in the last five years. After the successful acquisition of a large project with one of the industry’s leading blue chip clients, they are putting together an experienced engineering team to deliver this scheme to industry leading standard and develop their reputation as a leading general contractor.

Electrical Project Engineer Responsibilities:
- Engage with designers and specialist sub-contractors for design assistance, determine and coordinate system integration requirements between specialist vendors.
- Host meetings and workshops with clients, designers, and specialist vendors.
- Developing weekly technical engineering progress reports.
- Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of UK Electrical Regulations
- Chair daily, weekly and monthly, internal and client meetings
- Management of program
- Involvement in QA/QC elements
- Involvement in all commissioning stages alongside Cx Manager
Requirements for the role:
- 5+ years in a mission critical environment
- Extensive switchgear, HV/LV, instrumentation, containment etc knowledge
- Adept at working in fast paced, high pressure environments
- Very strong communicator and well organised
- Strong IT skills
- Proficient in BIM360
- Degree or masters in field of Building Services
