Velocity Tech have partnered with an exciting renewable energy company, based in Nottingham, who are hiring for a Python Engineer.
You will be working on a variety of green tech projects, developing tools and applications that drive real-time decision-making, automate operations, and manage complex energy data. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, analysts, and product managers to build scalable, clean, and efficient code.
Key Skills:
- Develop and maintain Python-based applications for energy systems and data pipelines
- Work with APIs, databases, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS or Azure)
- Collaborate in agile development cycles and participate in code reviews
- Contribute to the design and deployment of data-driven tools for renewable energy operations
- Solve complex technical problems in a high-impact environment
FYI - This role is a permanent role and requires you to be in the office 3 times per week.
