In the short term, we need to monitor how we use our energy and be as energy efficient as possible. This organisation does exactly that. They create low-power energy monitoring devices that are applied across 50 different locations worldwide, that are supplied into both the private and commercial sectors.
They are RF connected IOT devices needing some high-quality firmware written in C/C++. This is a hands-on position which can be done remotely. The team are driven to achieve greatness and really impact CO2 use – their success to date in unparalleled and lots of changes in R&D are happening since the appointment of a new CTO.
It’s a chance to immerse yourself in the world of low power wireless devices with good colleagues.
Experience needed:
- Embedded C/C++
- Linux
- IOT Devices/RF/Bluetooth or a relevant LoRa System
