Senior/Principal Planner (EIA)
Location: North West England or North Wales (hybrid)
Are you ready to lead the future of environmental planning and consultancy? We’re seeking a Principal Consultant to drive growth in an SME environmental consultancy, guiding clients through complex projects in property, infrastructure, and renewable energy.
You’ll bring technical expertise, commercial insight, and leadership to deliver high-quality solutions, grow the client base, and support a talented team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead large, complex projects to time and budget
- Provide expert technical advice and review reports
- Mentor and manage a growing consultant team
- Build lasting client relationships and win new work
- Oversee bids, tenders, and project pipelines
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
What we’re looking for:
- Strong track record in Planning & EIA
- Experience in a consultancy setting
- Skilled in client engagement and business development
- Experienced in team leadership/mentoring
- Commercially aware with focus on risk and finance
