We have a fantastic opportunity for a SHE Advisor to join our Nuclear & Infrastructure Division, based on site at Sellafield. Please be aware this is a UK-Wide position, as you will need to travel to our construction sites. Applications will be considered from across the UK.
Our Nuclear & Infrastructure division has extensive experience in the specialist, highly regulated nuclear, transport (road and rail), process industries and power and energy sectors. Providing award winning design teams, utilising state-of-the-art design software and Tekla detailing facilities to offer customers value engineering. This gives a mix of proven success along with modern, innovative design and fabrication ideas to be able to provide a quality, specialised service to a growing market. They continue to set the
bar high in their highly regulated market!
Vacancy Details
In the SHE Advisor position you will manage the site health and safety requirements and support the site and projects team with the day-to-day running of the site, actively assisting with SHE initiatives and safety alerts.
You will assist with the review of risk assessments and operational procedures, and complete SHE inspections on a weekly basis, and accident & incident investigations when needed.
You will support with toolbox talks, safety stand downs, and carry out monitoring (Hand, Arm Vibration/Noise) to ensure compliance. You will also need to assist in Environmental and Sustainability related duties such as recorded data on project visits.
Key Skills & Experience
- NEBOSH General
- Good understanding of Health and Safety Legislation
- Experience of accident/incident investigations
- Experience carrying out inspections/audits
- Experience working in a steel construction environment, preferably in the nuclear industry
- Ability to communicate at all levels, both internally and externally
- Computer literate with Microsoft experience
