Head of AI & Machine Learning | Shape the Future of Applied Intelligence
Our client is searching for a senior, hands-on AI/ML leader to sit at the centre of their business and lead the next chapter of their AI journey.
This is a rare opportunity for a commercially-minded AI leader who’s passionate about turning cutting-edge models and tools into solutions that genuinely solve business problems and drive revenue. About Our Client:
They’re ambitious, collaborative, and solving applied problems that are far more interesting than the average “big tech” brief.
This hire is central to their mission: to embed AI/ML across the business, connect upstream and downstream, and take their data offering to the next level.
The Mission
As Head of AI & Machine Learning, you’ll:
- Lead the shift from traditional analytics to AI-first, applied problem solving.
- Keep AI at the centre of the business, ensuring leaders understand why it matters and how it drives value.
- Identify, build and deploy next-gen ML solutions (e.g. NLP, predictive modelling, generative AI).
- Integrate structured and unstructured data to create practical, revenue-driving solutions.
- Work closely with end users and business leaders to ensure outputs are usable, scalable, and commercially sharp.
- Mentor and grow a team – building a culture of curiosity, adaptability, and experimentation.
- Balance hands-on technical delivery with shaping long-term AI strategy.
What You’ll Bring
You’re a leader with:
- A track record of blending hands-on AI/ML with business impact.
- Hands-on skills in Python, R, GPT models, and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS/Azure).
- Experience delivering revenue-driving solutions from diverse data sources.
- The ability to explain technical outputs to senior stakeholders in clear, commercial terms.
- A mindset that is enthusiastic, adaptive, and collaborative - never “just in the cave coding.”
- Leadership capability – both in strategy and in building high-performing teams.
Example Backgrounds Might Include:
- Innovative analytics consultancies or tech/data start-ups.
- In-house AI/ML leads ready to shape a broader strategic function.
- Digital, media, or customer-first organisations where AI is applied to real-world problems.
- Diverse industries (from aviation to construction to creative agencies) - we’re not looking for a single pedigree, but the right attitude.
If this feels like the right next move, please do apply.
