SHEQ Manager to join our expanding Safety team in
Preston.
The Opportunity
Were seeking a proactive and experienced SHEQ professional to lead and develop our growing team. Youll manage and mentor two SHEQ Advisors and a Compliance Manager, helping shape the delivery of our SHEQ strategy while ensuring compliance across all operations.
Youll be instrumental in embedding a strong culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop SHEQ Advisors and Compliance Officers.
- Oversee audits, inspections, and incident investigations across multiple projects.
- Drive compliance with HSE legislation and ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001).
- Support the delivery of the company-wide SHEQ strategy.
- Promote sustainability initiatives, including carbon reduction and waste management.
- Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulators.
What Were Looking For
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and strong SHEQ management experience.
- Solid understanding of ISO systems and UK HSE legislation.
- Proven ability to lead teams and influence safety culture.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.
Experience in renewables, energy, or construction sectors is highly desirable.
