About Us
Bron Yr Aur is a mission-driven social enterprise and the world’s first creative micronation rooted in creativity, sustainability, and well-being. We’re building a global community through both physical and digital experiences — an intentionally diverse and inclusive network of creative citizens and partners. We’re committed to positive impact: 5% of our profits/GDP go to good causes locally and globally, and another 5% supports subsidised and free citizenships, giving people worldwide access to creative and well-being resources.
About the Role
This is a Creative Media and Communications role with a focus on nurturing and growing our global community. You’ll help shape and share the Bron Yr Aur story, create engaging social media content, draft press releases, develop marketing materials, and bring forward creative ideas for campaigns that connect with our citizens worldwide.
A key part of the role involves supporting the growth of our community through citizen engagement, including introducing new people to citizenship packages - helping manage advance orders for VIP retreats, and supporting our crowdfunding campaign. Commission is earned on all sales and contributions (10–20%), with an emphasis on building lasting relationships and fostering an engaged global community. You’ll also help expand our reach across Facebook, Instagram, and other channels, use tools such as Mailchimp to build direct mailing lists, and collaborate with creative partners — including Plas Dolguog, where our VIP guests will stay, and our U.S. business partners in North Carolina and Utah. This role is a unique opportunity to combine creative storytelling, communications, and community-building, gain hands-on experience in a radical, mission-driven startup, and benefit from mentoring and guidance from the CEO, helping you develop skills across media, marketing, and business growth.
