Our Ways of Working
We’re all about flexibility, community and a healthy work-life balance. Our hybrid model offers a 'best of both worlds' approach combining the best parts of home and office working. When you'll be in the office depends on your role, but you can expect to work from our London office between 8-12 days per month.
To support this, the successful applicant should be within a reasonably commutable distance to our office (Gray's Inn Road, London, WC1X 8HB).

We're looking for a sales professional who can independently identify, win, and grow dealer partnerships. You’ll be the face of Pod for dealerships, building trust at all levels and turning opportunities into revenue while helping accelerate EV adoption. If you’re commercially sharp, strategic, and passionate about sustainability, this role gives you the chance to make a real impact on both Pod’s growth and the EV market.
So, what you'll do:
- Identify and Secure New Partners - you’ll proactively target and acquire new dealerships, dealer groups, and used car supermarket partners to expand Pod’s market presence
- Manage the Full Sales Cycle - you’ll take ownership from prospecting and proposal through negotiation, contract execution, and seamless partner onboarding
- Deliver Commercial Results - you’ll achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets, taking accountability for both financial performance and the quality of partnerships secured
- Build Strategic Relationships - you’ll develop and nurture strong partnerships across all levels within dealer groups, from sales teams to senior management
- Develop Go-To Market Plans - you’ll collaborate with dealers to create tailored strategies that drive home charger referrals for EV drivers in the showroom
- Leverage Data and Insight - you’ll provide regular pipeline updates, accurate forecasting, and market feedback to inform strategy, improve performance, and enhance partner experience
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally - you’ll Work with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to ensure smooth partner onboarding, enablement, and alignment on joint initiatives
- Monitor Competitor Activity- you’ll keep track of competitor initiatives, market trends, and dealer programs to inform strategy and maintain Pod’s competitive edge
- Identify Process Improvements - you’ll spot opportunities to streamline dealer onboarding, reporting, or referral processes, improving efficiency for both Pod and its partners
- Champion our values - you’ll model Trust, Edge, and Care in all partner interactions, ensuring Pod is seen as a credible, professional, and strategic partner.
Plug in your skills:
What you'll bring to the role:
- 5+ years’ experience working within or with automotive dealerships
- Proven success in full-cycle sales delivery with annual targets of £2m+
- Track record of exceeding revenue and new business growth targets
- Experience with automotive retail digital tools or CRM platforms (ideally HubSpot)
- Familiarity with dealership systems, lead management tools, or HubSpot to manage pipeline efficiently
- Experienced in structuring and negotiating partnership agreements
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based sales role
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking, able to define and execute sales plans while adapting to market shifts
- Superior sales, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems and pipeline management
- Passionate about sustainability, EV adoption, and the future of mobility.
Even better, but not essential, if you have:
- Exposure to EV charging or clean mobility solutions – understanding of the EV ecosystem to better position Pod’s products with dealers
- Background in sales enablement or dealer training – experience supporting or coaching dealership teams to improve product adoption or referrals
- Event or trade show experience – representing a business at automotive industry events, exhibitions, or local dealer forums.
