About The Role
West Ham United Football Club is offering an exciting opportunity for a placement student to join our Sports Science and Medicine Department for the 2026/27 season.
This one-year placement will support the ongoing development and delivery of nutrition provision across both the
Men’s and Women’s First Teams. Working within a high-performance, multidisciplinary environment, you will gain invaluable, hands-on experience applying nutrition principles to support elite player performance and wellbeing.
You’ll assist with daily nutrition delivery, monitoring, testing, research, and data analysis, while also contributing to education initiatives such as workshops, infographics, and newsletters to promote nutrition awareness across the Club.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills within a Premier League football environment, supported by experienced practitioners and performance staff.
Requirements
Essential Criteria
- The placement must form part of your degree programme, with an end date after January 2027.
- Ability to commit to the full 2026/27 season.
- Enhanced DBS check with Child’s Barred List required.
- Ability to travel between multiple Club training venues.
