£30k - £45k plus 10% bonus
Principal Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to operations, including diagnosis, root cause analysis, and implementation of remedial work required to ensure plant availability and integrity.
• Design and implement new process systems and mechanical systems as part of capital projects under supervision of the Lead Engineer.
• Liaise with the Customer, Operations, Maintenance and Engineering Departments as well as the subsurface group, to produce periodic capability and probability performance forecast reports.
• Assist with the developing of the existing asset to meet transitional and future operations with net zero gases. This includes solutions for compression, storage, and capture of hydrogen, whilst also ensuring standards, policies and procedures are suitable for the transitional phase.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Engineering Degree level qualification in Chemical, Process or equivalent.
• Membership of a professional institution, Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership.
• Engineering knowledge and training with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry or a related industry.
