Wynnstay Group Plc, a leading UK agricultural supplies business with a proud heritage and strong community values, is looking for a People and Culture (P&C) Operations Administrator to join our supportive, forward-thinking People and Culture team at our Llansantffraid site.
In this pivotal role, you will help deliver a smooth, accurate, and positive experience for colleagues, managers, and candidates by providing high-quality administrative support across the full colleague lifecycle.
The Opportunity
Working closely with the wider People and Culture team, you will play a vital role in delivering a reliable, friendly, and efficient service to the business.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering day-to-day People/HR administration across the colleague lifecycle, including onboarding, probation, contractual changes, absence, performance processes, and offboarding.
- Preparing and issuing contracts, offer letters, variation documents, and onboarding paperwork, ensuring records are accurate, compliant, and well-maintained.
- Acting as a first point of contact for colleague and manager queries, offering guidance and signposting to relevant policies.
- Supporting end-to-end recruitment administration, including posting adverts, managing applications, coordinating interviews, communicating with candidates, and maintaining trackers.
- Carrying out pre-employment and right-to-work checks, inputting new starter information into People systems and payroll input files, and helping deliver a seamless onboarding experience.
- Maintaining high-quality data across HR systems, supporting routine people reporting, and helping with simple system queries.
- Supporting HRIS implementation, process improvements, template updates, and wider People projects.
- Upholding confidentiality, promoting best practice, and providing flexible support during busy periods or project activity.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience & Skills
- Previous experience in an administrative role (ideally within HR, recruitment, or a process-driven environment).
- Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.
- Confident using IT systems including Outlook, Excel, Word, and digital databases.
- Experience supporting recruitment or training administration is desirable but not essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and curious mindset, with willingness to learn and improve.
