The Opportunity
We’re seeking an Operations Lead to be a driving force behind our people experience in EMEA. This is a role for someone passionate about people, culture, and building a sense of community across the business.
You’ll play a central part in the entire employee lifecycle, from how we attract and hire talent all the way through to how we support, develop, engage, and, when the time comes, offboard with care and professionalism.
You will also help define and deliver the heartbeat of our internal culture, ensuring Hydrogen is a place where people feel connected, supported, and proud to belong.
You will report directly to the EMEA COO, with mentorship and support from the Head of Strategic Change and Operations and EA to the Group, giving you strong visibility, guidance, and influence across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Manage and refine our internal recruitment process across EMEA
- Partner with hiring managers to shape role requirements and interview processes
- Deliver a high-impact onboarding experience that sets people up for success
People Development & Engagement
- Support employee development through structured initiatives and meaningful conversations
- Champion wellbeing, engagement, and a collaborative working culture
Culture, Community & Operations
- Act as a cultural ambassador, ensuring our values are felt in everyday operations
- Help create opportunities for connection across London, Edinburgh, and wider EMEA teams
- Ensure internal communications, celebrations, and recognition moments are thoughtful and consistent
- Work closely with leadership to keep culture aligned with business goals and operational priorities
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Oversee HR processes, documentation, systems, and compliance across the region, covering all stages of the employee lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement in our operations and the support we provide to our people.
