Project Delivery Engineer Jobs in Greater London at Stannah - Join Our Team!
We are looking for a Project Delivery Engineer to join Stannah’s Platform Lifts and Microlifts division, covering London and the surrounding areas.
In this role, you will manage site progress to prepare for the delivery and installation of our lifts, working closely with both site teams and the Operations team to ensure smooth and successful installations. You will also provide advice on-site to help projects run without issues.
To succeed, you should be an experienced engineer with knowledge of construction sites and building processes, and you must be able to read and understand drawings from builders, architects, and engineers. We are seeking someone who is organised, customer-focused, and skilled at problem solving, with a flexible approach to work.
As the Project Delivery Engineer you may be the first person a customer meets on site, it is important that you can represent the company well and provide clear guidance.
A company vehicle will be provided as part of the role, and a DBS check will be required.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 to 16:45.
Project Delivery Engineer Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, building strong relationships, offering expert advice, and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage the full project lifecycle including planning, scheduling, execution, and closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while coordinating with internal teams and external contractors.
- Champion health and safety across all project activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards, and liaising with the H&S Manager to address customer queries.
- Conduct site visits and audits to confirm readiness, monitor subcontractor performance, check installation quality, and provide technical guidance on fixing points, pump locations, and builders’ work.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and site reports, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance project delivery.

Qualifications
Project Delivery Engineer Requirements:
- Construction or Lift qualification (Min NVQ Level 2 )
- Strong understanding of construction sites, building processes, and technical drawings
- Proven experience in project management within construction or lift installation.
