Our team consists of four highly skilled electricians and two apprentices currently progressing through their training to become fully qualified. Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Approved Electrician to join our team, delivering high-quality electrical installations and maintenance across domestic and commercial projects. The role involves working on new builds, rewires, remedial works, EICRs, bespoke retrofit installations, and renewable technologies including Solar PV and EV charging solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installations:
- Carry out full electrical installations on new build properties and commercial units.
- Complete rewires and bespoke retrofit projects to client specifications.
- Testing & Compliance:
- Perform Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and remedial works to ensure compliance with BS7671.
- Maintain accurate documentation and certification for all works.
- Renewable & Emerging Technologies:
- Install and commission Solar PV systems and associated battery storage solutions.
- Install EV charging points in line with current regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintenance & Repairs:
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults in domestic and commercial environments.
- Carry out standard remedial works following inspections or client requests.
- Health & Safety:
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Ensure safe working practices on-site at all times.
- Communication:
- Effective and timely communication with customers & back office
- Daily Reporting on works completed
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
- 2391 (or equivalent) Testing & Inspection qualification.
- Approved Electrician status (JIB card desirable).
- Experience in domestic and commercial installations.
- Knowledge of Solar PV and EV charger installations (training can be provided if required).
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
- MCS accreditation experience for Solar PV.
- Experience with smart home technologies and bespoke electrical solutions.
