We are supporting a growing engineering and manufacturing group with multiple UK sites as they strengthen their data capability. This role suits a graduate or early career analyst who enjoys solving problems, improving reporting quality and bringing clarity to complex operational data.
The Role
You will help the business move from several legacy systems to clear and reliable reporting through modern Power BI dashboards. Your work will improve visibility of performance across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain and commercial functions. This is a hands on role where you will gather requirements, understand how data flows through the organisation and build dashboards that help managers make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
• Consolidate data from several legacy platforms into structured, reliable reporting sets
• Develop automated dashboards in Power BI to support daily, weekly and monthly reporting cycles
• Work with managers across multiple sites to understand reporting needs
• Support data quality improvements and basic data governance activity
• Assist with ad hoc analysis and insight projects
About You
• Degree in a relevant discipline such as data, maths, computer science, engineering or business analytics
• Strong interest in Power BI and ability to build clear and logical dashboards
• Confident working with datasets from different systems
• Comfortable engaging with operational managers in a fast paced manufacturing setting
• Curious, proactive and willing to learn new tools and methods
