The Role
This role sits at the heart of our operations, working closely with our Contracts Manager, Project Manager, MEP Designer, and field supervisors to ensure all project activities are planned, resourced, and delivered efficiently.
Project Coordination & Scheduling
- Create and maintain project schedules, coordinating internal teams and subcontractors.
- Allocate supervisors and field teams to projects; maintain accurate calendars.
- Track progress, flag issues early, and support the PM with timelines and milestones.
Operational Administration
- Prepare and issue project documentation including RAMS, permits, logistics plans, and H&S documentation.
- Support DNO and G99/G100 submissions, liaising with networks as required.
- Coordinate procurement requests and delivery of materials to site.
- Maintain accurate project records, drawing registers, and documentation packs.
Customer & Stakeholder Support
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients during the project lifecycle for administrative updates.
- Arrange site access, inductions, and communication with site contacts and stakeholders.
- Support the PM and Contracts Manager with reporting and handover documentation.
Quality, Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure all project documentation meets compliance requirements.
- Support audits, reporting cycles, and internal quality processes.
- Prepare project close-out packs, O&M manuals, and handover files.
Your Skills
Essential
- Experience in project coordination, operations administration, or construction/engineering support.
- Experience in renewable energy (Solar PV, ASHP, MEP, or similar).
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, able to manage multiple live projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong IT skills (Office 365, project systems, CRM/ERP tools).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing environment.
Advantageous
- Understanding of construction processes, RAMS, logistics, or DNO submissions.
- Experience working with project teams and field-based supervisors.
- Knowledge of Dynamics 365 / Power BI or similar systems (advantage).
