Working within our Low Carbon Regulated Asset Base team, you’ll drive regulation from design into delivery, operating at the intersection of policy, regulation and investment, influencing government, shaping markets and enabling major infrastructure projects to progress with confidence.
You’ll be leading a high-performing, supportive team working at pace on exciting and complex policy areas, from regulatory framework development to investor engagement. You’ll also help set direction across a portfolio that includes hydrogen transport and new nuclear finance. This is a fast-evolving space with real-world implications, and you’ll be right at the heart of it.

Person specification
Essential:
- Expertise in the design and/or implementation of economic regulation (i.e. RAB models / price controls), as demonstrated by a proven record of high performance and substantial achievements in past positions (LEAD).
- Proven aptitude for leadership, with an ability to build effective working relationships with teams and a wide range of stakeholders that creates space for constructive, open, and transparent engagement contributing to a culture of inclusion (LEAD).
- Develops, plans and delivers work outcomes, including clear and transparent work objectives, milestones and success metrics.
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to distil complex issues for non‑expert audiences and represent Ofgem effectively with senior and external stakeholders.
Desirable:
- Experience working on carbon capture and storage policy.
