Your duties and responsibilities will be
- Provide leadership in health, safety, and sustainability matters across the project.
- Advise and support managers and supervisors in fulfilling their health and safety responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory duties and internal procedures.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and surveillance to maintain high safety standards.
- Lead and oversee accident/incident investigations and implement lessons learned.
- Manage health and safety statistics, identify trends, and develop improvement plans.
- Prepare and review health and safety documentation, including plans and method statements.
- Organize and oversee induction processes and safety campaigns.
- Maintain accurate records and provide reports as required.
- Stop work if health and safety standards are compromised.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
- Proven experience in health and safety leadership within a complex project environment.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage audits, investigations, and reporting effectively.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience with collaborative working and supply chain engagement.
- Familiarity with health and safety management systems and competency platforms.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CSCS card system).
- Knowledge of contract and procedural compliance.
