Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Salford for a 16-18 Study Programme Horticulture Tutor. The Tutor will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, creating course materials, assessing student progress, and supporting students in their academic and personal growth. The tutor will also be expected to collaborate with colleagues, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with educational standards and policies.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Horticulture topics and educational methodologies
- Experience in delivering Level 1 & Level 2 sessions to 16 - 18 yrs
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and work as part of a team
- Relevant teaching qualifications and certifications
- Experience in the education sector, particularly with young learners
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education
