Commercial Energy Solutions (CES) are a long-established Energy Consultants based in Beckenham, South London.
We are searching for someone who is motivated with a passion to succeed to join our team in delivering core services such as Gas, Electricity, Water procurement, as well as overseeing bill validation and compliance reporting. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will manage mature client portfolio whilst providing a high level of service throughout the contract life cycle. We will support you in developing your industry knowledge to increase your earning potential.
The role is office based but we will consider remote working for experienced Energy Consultants / Account Managers.
The Role
- Manage contract renewals, including up-selling, cross-selling and occasional selling to new clients
- Preparing tender proposals, presenting quotes and securing contracts
- Support clients with billing queries in collaboration with our Billing Team
- Maintain regular contact with the clients and provide market intelligence
- Communicate client needs and demands to energy analysts and admin operation teams.
Our ideal Energy Consultant / Account Manager should have the below skills:
- 3+ years industry and B2B sales experience with a TPI or energy supplier
- Effective communication and relationship building skills with proven track record in nurturing long-term client partnerships
- Professional, assertive, and driven
- Good written and organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Target/commission driven
- Strong commercial awareness with good understanding of the UK non-domestic Gas & Electricity markets
- Collaborative team player
- Tenacious attitude – Sales can be a tough job, so we are looking for someone who doesn’t give up easily.
Package and Benefits
Remuneration package consisting of basic salary, commission, monthly KPI’s bonus and annual bonus to give realistic and contractually guaranteed OTE of £54-60k.
From Year 2 onwards, OTE can be significantly higher due to portfolio development.
