Rail Maintenance Technician Level 3

Are you looking for your next challenge? We are currently seeking experienced Engineers with practical Rail experience to join our expanding Rail field team. We would love to hear from you if you have experience of within Rail/CCTV networks.

You'll be working in a part of telent that is dedicated to maintaining the UK wide rail network. Our customers include Network Rail and a host of Train Operating Companies, providing maintenance and supporting customers.

Role Profile

Reporting to the Duty Manager you are responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance activities and assisting with reactive maintenance on SISS (Station Information and Security Systems) across our across Train Operating Companies contracts.

Typical Deliverables
individual that works well as part of a team who also takes ownership of their workload. You must understand Network Rail health and safety is key and adhering to company/customer polices. Ensuring SISS assets are well maintained, and station communication faults are reported and fixed Utilising field IT equipment to provide real time corrective and planned maintenance data
Experience Required
Network Rail PTS (or ability to complete the training) IT literate good understanding of Microsoft CCTV or electrical background Driving licence required
You'll receive formal training and on-the-job training where appropriate through our external providers - to ensure you're up-skilled as technology develops along with E-learning schemes to help or refresh skills on-line. You'll also receive a vehicle and fuel card to get you to and from site locations.
