Greensolver, the leading third-party provider of services to the renewable energy sector,
(since 2008), manages wind, storage and solar power assets for its investment funds clients
in Europe.
Greensolver is ramping up its development through an organic growth (new clients) and
external growth strategy (acquisition and partnerships). Greensolver recently joined the
Voltalia group and operates as an independent entity.
Greensolver offers a wide range of solutions covering construction, technical,
administrative, accounting and financial operations of wind, storage and solar plants and
advises investors on the acquisition or sale of assets.
We are currently seeking an Energy Storage System Engineer.
Main responsibilities:
· Energy storage system design and sizing for hybrid systems and grid support services
· Energy storage system contracts (supply, O&M) review and negotiation
· Financial model reviews
· High quality due diligence reports
· Stay abreast of new technologies and developments in the industry, regulations, and support mechanisms
· Provide support to the asset management team
· Willing to take part in wind and solar due diligence missions
Qualifications:
· Engineering degree or equivalent
· Experience working for a technical advisor, OEM supplier, developer, or operator of energy storage plants.
· Experience in the renewable energy industry would be a plus
Experience:
· 5 years’ + experience
Professional skills:
· Excellent communication and reporting skills,
· Highly analytical with attention to detail and ability to exercise engineering judgement.
· Strong mathematical and analysis background,
Personal Skills:
· Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical colleagues are essential.
· Driving licence
· Enjoy working remotely with teammates located in other offices overseas
IT Skills:
· Advanced Microsoft Office skills required.
· Programming/software development experience is an advantage.
Languages:
· English
· French or Spanish is a bonus
