One of our clients, a leading provider of EV (Electric Vehicle) charge points is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join them in their exciting journey as they continue to grow.
Job Summary
The role will involve carrying out site surveys and minor works installations, as well as pro-actively maintaining existing equipment on EV sites.
Responsibilities
- Carry out in-depth site surveys to assess for available power allowing for the completion of accurate, high quality quotes and estimates
- Provide precise estimates for cost-effective solutions
- Work pro-actively with Sales and Account Management to manage surveys and site visits for installations
- Work with Customer Services to provide pro-active and re-active maintenance on existing sites
- Minor works installations including planning projects and assisting with ordering the relevant materials
- Contact and maintain communications with sub-contractors for large-scale building supply projects
- Act as a brand ambassador across the UK, representing our client at site visits
Requirements
Qualifications:
- City and Guilds 18th Edition (Essential)
- 2391 Test And Inspection (Essential)
- Full, clean driving licence (Essential)
- 2396 Electrical Design Course (Desirable)
- ECS/CSCS cardholder (Desirable)
- 2919-01 EV Charger Course (Desirable)
Experience:
- Experience working with large scale commercial/industrial building supply and understanding of how to utilise this supply to suit our installations (Essential)
- Maintenance Engineer experience (Essential)
- Experience quoting and designing smaller electrical installations (desirable)
Skills:
- Excellent I.T skills as using Excel to complete quotes and estimates is a crucial part of the role (Essential)
- Organisation and ability to multi-task effectively, as will be running various projects in different stages simultaneously (Essential)
- Communication is key both with the office and while dealing with clients as a representative (Essential)
