I’m currently working with a range of clients across the whole of the UK who are interested in employing Field Engineers who have experience in either Telematics, Vehicle Trackers, Vehicle Camera systems or similar. Do you have this experience?
My clients are looking for of various levels of Field Engineers who are reliable, hard-working and flexible when needed. The Field Engineer needs to be someone who takes pride in delivering their work to a high standard and can achieve a ‘fit right first time, every time’ level of service to my client’s customers. As such, we need someone with a sound understanding of vehicle electrics and experience of fitting systems onto various types of vehicles
The Field Engineer needs to be someone who is committed to delivering exceptional customer service when on customer sites. You will need to have a personable approach, with a gift for problem-solving and staying calm under pressure..
The main responsibilities of the Field Engineer role are:
· Experienced in installing Vehicle CCTV, Telematics or/and Vehicle Trackers and running associated cabling and mounting equipment
· Completing paperwork accurately and on time (e.g. timesheets, van stock sheets and installation paperwork)
· Act as a Company ambassador ensuring all interaction with customers are conducted in a professional and helpful manner
· Able to work closely with the team of Field Engineers and the office-based teams ensuring regular communication and appropriate escalation of any business issues
