Senior- £60,000-£75,000 (Negotiable DOE) My client is an electric vehicle charging service, who design and manufacture the hardware and write the software that communicates with the charge points that the customers use to charge their vehicles. It's a rapidly growing industry that bridges transport, green energy, and the Internet of Things. Our charge point integrates into lampposts useing the spare power not used by the street lighting. My client have the full ecosystem required for seamless charging, the hardware, the software platform and the underlying support. Unlike other public charging solutions my client is cost effective, built for public access and does not require expensive installations or special cables. My client also offers fast chargers for where there is a dedicated power supply.
My client are on the lookout for a Project Managers all levels to join a fast-growing innovative company harnessing the growth of the EV industry, with this comes fast progression opportunities and a chance to learn from experts in this new industry. Reporting to the Project Deployment Manager, this role will mean you are in control of the installation, activation and commissioning of electric vehicle chargers. Key Responsibilities: With support of the project team manage the total project lifecycle of the development and installation process The pricing and connection designs and the execution of documents prior to the installation being instructed The management of multiple connection offers simultaneously with numerous counterparts Update our key clients via meetings and our project hosting system. Maintaining and updating the central, company cloud-based management system for tracking and recording the process of each connection from enquiry through to contract execution Charger Commissioning: Check-in with installers to ensure the installation and commission of chargers is complete Assist the continual development of our operations system Asset management of new and existing chargers Monitor and amend supply chain stock levels and communicating to the team Linking with the financial team in updating all relevant costs on company platforms to support cash flow Applying for and progress new applications with the DNO Responsible for the curation of new systems and hand over packs to clients Partake in client and partner meetingsThe right person for the role will: Have experience with electrical systems/components. This is preferred but not required Have experience in Project Management Background in Street lighting or Highways. This is preferred but not required Experience of either client-side specifying, procuring, and managing small-scale projects or for a small or medium-sized contractor delivering small to medium-sized projects Conversant with construction sector procurement and control systems and procedures Demonstrate strong numerously and literacy skills Be competent with full Microsoft office suite of programs Possess a desire for the development of systems, processes, and controls Adopt a collaborative, project orientated approach Can communicate with, and manage the output from multiple third-party contractors and suppliers Be organised and self-disciplined Be able to adapt to working within a team of other sector and non-sector specialists Be a self-starter by nature, able to operate successfully whilst working away from immediate line management for more information please contact (url removed)
