Role Description
We are hiring a full-time, on-site Transport Planner/Account Manager to join our team in Pontypool. The role involves planning, managing, and coordinating transport operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with customer requirements. Responsibilities include overseeing transport schedules, collaborating with stakeholders, optimizing transport strategies, maintaining clear communication with clients and partners, and addressing operational challenges. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing customer experiences and achieving business objectives.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Transportation Planning and Transport Modelling to ensure effective scheduling and route optimization
- Experience in Operations Management and Transportation Management, with the ability to handle logistics and ensure regulatory compliance
- Strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and partners
- Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and proactively solve logistical challenges
- Relevant qualifications in transportation, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
- Knowledge of sustainable logistics practices is a plus
