This role is a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Power Generator Engineer to join a friendly and innovative team and will play a key part in the pre-delivery inspections of the machinery. Reporting to the Service Supervisor, you will be conducting machine plant diagnostics and servicing and repairs to construction and industrial equipment.
What you will be doing
- Conducting servicing and repairs
- Machine plant diagnostics
- Carrying out works to diesel engine generator sets at sites
- Visiting customer sites in the field
- Carrying out installations
- Emergency call outs to customer break downs
- Control system wiring
- PLC/ Deep sea programming
- Load banking all sizes of generators

The ideal candidate
- Ideally, you will have a minimum of an NVQ in plant engineering servicing and maintenance
- Powergen qualifications – Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, IEE regs 18th edition (advantageous)
- Knowledge of plant industry environment
- Hydraulic system experience
- Initiative and self-motivation
- You will take pride in providing excellent customer service
- Clean and full driving licence
