The Role:
Are you looking for a cutting-edge role in the renewables sector, where you will help deliver our purpose of building a bright future? We are a fast-growing global renewable energy producer looking for a BI Developer to help us in the implementation and evolution of the Sonnedix data platform. You will participate in the ideation of new use cases and definition of product vision, and implement use cases with tasks ranging from data engineering, to analytics definition, to frontend design. You will enjoy working closely with various internal teams and taking ownership of ensuring value is created in cross-organisation projects.
The BI Developer will also provide operational support including issues investigation and remediation, train the wider data team on the platform use and evangelize high quality software and product design practices.
Desirable skills:
- Proficiency in BI tools (Tableau / Power BI / Grafana / Foundry)
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python / PySpark / Spark SQL / Java
- Capable of capturing user needs and translating them into use cases.
- An inquisitive and determined team player, that loves learning, experimenting, and innovate.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in teams of technical and non-technical individuals, and comfortable delivering goals in a rapidly changing environment with dynamic objectives Sonnedix welcomes applications from people of all backgrounds and members of under-represented groups
