Senior Project / Programme Manager - Wealth Operations Transformation
Locations: Bristol, , London, Essex or Central Scotland(Hybrid)
A leading global financial services technology and operations provider is seeking a Programme Manager to lead complex wealth operations transformation initiatives for high-profile clients.
This is a senior, client-facing role focused on delivering Target Operating Model (TOM) design and implementation, operational change, and transformation across wealth servicing environments - particularly across non-advised client journeys, partner/adviser processes, and High Net Worth service models.
You will act as the primary interface with the client, owning delivery from initiation through to implementation, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives while driving operational efficiency, stakeholder adoption, and measurable business outcomes.
What you will be doing
Lead end-to-end delivery of large, complex projects and programmes within wealth operations
Drive operations transformation across client servicing, adviser/partner processes, and HNW models
Design and deliver Target Operating Models (TOM) covering processes, organisation, technology, and capability
Lead TOM implementation and the associated change management to ensure smooth adoption
Partner closely with clients to review and optimise current operating models, systems, and structures
Act as the senior client contact, managing expectations and reporting throughout the lifecycle
Establish strong governance, reporting, and risk management across multiple workstreams
Manage resources, budgets, vendors, and cross-functional delivery teams
Promote best practice, continuous improvement, and lessons learned across programmes
What we're looking for
5+ years' experience delivering complex projects/programmes in a client-facing environment
Proven experience in operations transformation and Target Operating Model delivery
Experience within wealth management / platform / life & pensions / investment servicing environments
Strong stakeholder and client management skills at senior level
Experience leading matrix and cross-functional teams
Strong governance, risk, and financial management capability
Familiarity with PRINCE2, PMI, Agile or similar methodologies
Ability to manage multiple workstreams under pressure while maintaining quality
