I’m hiring a Solutions Engineer with a passion for geospatial technology and the desire to develop their own role within a fast growth, innovative, Space Tech scale up, launching its first satellites this year. As the Solutions Engineer and Technical Lead, you will work in an collaborative environment with the Business Development team playing a critical role in engaging with customers and key stakeholders to shape the solution, helping the team to drive new business growth.
This is an established and thriving business which uses high resolution thermal imaging and infrared tech to monitor the Earth, addressing sustainability challenges enabling businesses to reduce their carbon footprint. A hybrid role with a generous salary and extensive benefits.
ROLE and REQUIREMENTS
- Sell/Upsell products/solutions to customers and their technical experts
- Evaluate and influence customers’ requirements and guide them on the relevant product or service
- Create technical presentations and data demonstrations to highlight the value of the products and services
- Represent the company at events and conferences, providing demos and manning booths
- Attend customer visits and maintain existing, long-term relationships as a trusted advisor to their business
- Technical proposal writing including response to tenders, RFI’s, RFP’s
- Work independently and in a team environment, collaborating closely with the Business Development team to develop account plans and strategy
- Ad-hoc tasks as requested from time to time
- Develop processes and solutions that can be replicated and scaled efficiently
- Provide structured customer feedback to the Product team to inform the Product roadmap
- Experience with ESRI products and services is required.
- Exposure to satellite imagery is on keen interest.
