My client is looking for an experienced Tech Lead to own the "brain" and architecture of their core product—a major AI companion platform with millions of users globally. This is a critical, hands-on role for a builder who can ship production code, architect at scale, and has deep intuition for LLM alignment in unique content environments.

💼 What You'll Do
- Player/Coach Leadership – Architect systems and mentor the team while staying hands-on in the codebase (Python/PyTorch)
- Lead & Mentor – Guide a team of 3 AI engineers, balancing technical work with people management
- Own the Model Lifecycle – From data engine to production deployment, ensuring safety without sacrificing user freedom
- Drive Innovation – Contribute to a fast-growing, already profitable company leading the AI space
✅ What They're Looking For
Required:
- 6+ years of experience in AI/LLM engineering
- Proven track record shipping LLM features to production at high scale
- Experience leading teams while remaining hands-on
- Master's degree or higher in a relevant field
- Deep expertise in fine-tuning LLM models (SFT, RLHF, DPO)
- Understanding of content moderation architecture and NSFW classifiers
- Strong proficiency in Python and PyTorch
- Comfortable thriving in fast-paced, remote environments
