Burton HYBRID WORKING (1 day a week in the office)
Due to growth my client is looking for a BI Analyst to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved with supporting the Head of Business Intelligence and Insight in implementing and maintaining an effective Business Intelligence service. Responsible for creating and maintaining both internal and client facing business intelligence systems and reports, in conjunction with other BI team members and internal and external stakeholders, that fit with BI strategy and are properly supported.
Job Responsibilities

- Design and deliver BI solutions in line with customer requirements and established company policies.
- Contribute to the identification of new business opportunities.
- Promote Business Intelligence, communicating help available to train and up-skill users to allow full usage of the information and tools available.
- Produce new solutions in line with the established policies and work instructions.
- To provide well designed and aesthetically pleasing result sets that bring the data alive via Data Dashboards and interactive pivot-table style controls.
- Ensure that solutions are produced in a predictable way that is easy to support.
- To produce results in the most economical way possible, even when this would eschew the use of newer techniques and technologies.
- Contribute to the identification of new business opportunities e.g. potential to gather new data or make better use of existing data.
- Take direction from others, and be prepared to provide colleagues with feedback, when corrective action is needed to keep projects on track.
- To document any solutions produced with written reports that can be understood by audiences varying from technical programmers through to end-users. This could be installation guides, technical specifications and manuals, user-manuals etc.
- Capture business requirements from external partners and customers with regard to data analysis and presentation that can be effectively served by a BI implementation.
- Engage with the commercial sales teams to determine where BI could help drive sales and act as a market differentiator.
- To take an interest in the business reasons (and processes) underlying the B.I. solutions being produced; engage in stakeholder focused development rather than a purely specification driven development model.
