Job Purpose
The Performance Analyst role exists to deliver performance reporting requirements to the business in a timely manner to an exacting standard of quality and accuracy. Analysis of the data is also key to the role in order to provide informed business intelligence to the target audience.
The role is required to use business tools to visualise Performance Reports based on the customer needs and maintain these reports, as well as innovatively improve them.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Produce detailed reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Produce accurate and reliable reports to tight deadlines
- Build new reports for the business
- Build and maintain scorecards
- Liaise with managers and senior leaders to develop new reports
- Presenting information at all levels – Monthly management meetings etc
- Obtain data from other teams to feed into Management Information reporting
- Keep accurately documented processes for all reports
- Ensure data accuracy across a number of business systems
- Analyse reports to identify trends and provide recommendations for performance
- Delivery of reliable, accurate and complete performance reporting
Technical Skills & Experience
- High profile reporting to all levels of management
- Capable of working on own initiative and planning own workload
- Ensuring that deliverables meet the performance reporting schedules
- User in tableau report building and Power BI
- Advanced Microsoft Office e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access
- Personally organised with a structured and logical approach
- Analytical skills – Ability to process large volumes of data
- Flexibility to switch task and multitask at short notice
- A methodical “completer/finisher” approach to administration and documentation
- Customer focus for both internal and external customers
- Good understanding of working practices in Network/Process
- Experience of using/extracting data from Operational systems
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting
- Good oral and written communication skills
- The confidence to attend and the ability to participate in meetings/workshops with leaders in the business.
- Strong team worker who proactively shares workloads
