As an IT Engineer you will be managing and coordinating the sustenance and administration services across our systems and databases on a daily basis. The role will encompass all aspects of IT support on an ad hoc basis to database administration, which would involve new starters set-up, the diagnosis and troubleshooting of technical issues, production systems maintenance and administration, and researching and identifying solutions to software disruption.

Job Responsibility:
- Responsible for the installation, updating and monitoring of all business systems, including Sage 200 and internally developed systems.
- Liaise with all departments to ensure that our business systems meet their requirements.
- Maintenance and development of internally-based software, predominantly using SQL and LabVIEW.
- Responsible for day to day server and domain administration.
- Responsible for resolving employee hardware and software issues.
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout business IT systems.
- Provide SQL database support and maintenance, including database administration and optimisation, working with Operations to ensure the accuracy of transactions and assist with correcting any discrepancies
- Initiate and lead overall IT strategy and development of the department.
