Summary of role
The Administration and Operations Associate joins a close knit and ambitious team of 24 to support and develop a range of operational processes from their London office in White City. You will learn about many aspects of the business and be able to fast track your professional development in a supportive but driven working environment.
Core responsibilities include:
- Support the team with administrative and operational duties such as creating purchase orders and setting up new suppliers
- Support global procurement logistics as H2GO expand internationally
- Upload approved supplier invoices to the accounting software and arrange for accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices with the supporting documentation for payment
- Bookkeeping and management of financial documents
- Assist the team in creating cross-functional processes that bridge operations and finance and assist in the coordination of activities across departments.
- Tracking employee timesheets and assisting in the preparation of project costs and budgeting reports.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires including collecting information to prepare payroll
- Assist the CEO with travel management, schedules, meetings and appointments
What you’ll bring:
- Demonstrable experience of continuous improvement; identifying problems, creating solutions and implementing them
- A self starter with the drive and experience to make an impact
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel and Google Drive
- Experience with communication across all levels of a business up to C suite
Advantageous:
- IT savvy e.g. working with IT systems, administering user accounts, managing 3rd party IT and software suppliers
- Understanding of accounting software (Quickbooks, Xero, Dext), spreadsheets and bookkeeping.
- Keen to get involved in all parts of the business
- Experience with administering social media accounts and creating content
- Interest in the renewable energy sector
