JOB TITLE: GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN/PROCUREMENT MANAGER
LOCATION: HULL
SALARY: £75,000 TO £85,000 PLUS SHARE OPTIONS, PENSION AND ADDITIONAL BENEFITS

Focussing within the Energy space they are leading the way in the sustainability space and have a very exciting proposition for the market. Now in their next stage of growth they are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Global Supply Chain Manager to manage and develop their global supply chain. The key areas of this role will include developing the supply chain, commercial contracts, relationship management and logistics. Our client is looking for someone that can work in a dynamic hypergrowth company by being strategic and hands-on. Below is an overview of the role
JOB ROLE
- Implement and lead the company global supply chain strategy
- Identifying Global Supply Chain Partners to allow global manufacturing capabilities
- Advising senior management on Supply Chain Related matters
- Owns all aspects of supply chain, including contracts and all commercial terms, planning and implementation of the overall supply chain strategy for both Direct and Indirect materials/services.
- Ensure supply chain strategy, practices and initiatives are aligned with the business strategy and support growth strategy.
- Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
- Establish departmental goals, objectives, budgets, and operating procedures.
CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following experience and capabilities:
- Experience of developing and implementing global supply chain/procurement strategies.
- Proven track record of delivering sustainable cost savings, performance efficiencies and risk mitigation.
- Strong knowledge of procurement & supplier management best practice tools, processes and systems.
- Experienced in change management
- Ability to make sound commercial decisions
- Experience in Chemical, Gas, Hydrogen or Energy sectors is desirable but not essential.
