The shift pattern for this position is 5 over 7.

Glasgow Royal Infirmary requires a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join the Estates shift teams to carry out reactive and planned preventative maintenance across the hospital campus.

The post holder must be a time served mechanical engineer, having completed a recognized mechanical apprenticeship, and qualified to SVQ/HNC level (or currently working towards this qualification), with a minimum of 5 years post apprenticeship experience.

While the primary role of the post holder will be to carry out mechanical tasks, they will be part of a multi-skilled technical team and will be responsible for the delivery of specialist technical services for a wide range of duties in relation to all disciplines of building services, including, but not limited to, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems. It is essential that the post holder accepts a wide range of cross trade duties to deliver a high standard of service.
